Saved by a little girl!

As the summer came Atticus's case was coming close to start. The case was about Tom Robisnson, a colored man, which had so called raped Mayela Ewell. What is rape? I asked Calpurnia and she said that I should ask Atticus. I knew this word is something really bad that Atticus has to explain to me in well-mannered way. Atticus finally told me that rape was the carnal knowledge of a female by force and without consent. What the heck did that mean I was asking myself, but I had an idea that it was a bad word about women. One day when we went home these men for example Mr. Tate called Atticus outside, the sheriff of Maycomb. At this point I was scared at what they were going to do to Atticus for protecting Tom Robinson. Mr Tate and the other men said that Atticus should leave Tom Robinson's case because if he doesn’t his career will be over. Atticus disagreed on the men's request, and I was proud of my dad how courageously alone he fought these men verbally and he was winning. Go DAD! As I was watching Jem I felt his fear of Atticus getting injured by the men, but as the men left Jem's and also my heart beat started to slow down like God saved us from the devil. As the night went on I saw Atticus going to town with his car. I was very curious where he was going with his car because Atticus always walked. Jem, Dill and I walked to town to find Atticus. As we were walking I had a bad feeling that something was happening to Atticus and we had to save him. It was dark on top of that and I was sacred like I was 4 years old, but I am 6 years old and BRAVE, I TELL YOU! Suddenly Atticus loomed in front of us. Atticus was by the jail with a light bulb. Out of nowhere these black colored cars came with many men surrounding Atticus. Oh no, I knew when there is trouble and this is major drama. When those black cars came with the men I knew these men had a grudge against my daddy. I had to do something. So I ran to my Atticus. Jem and Dill followed me. Atticus told Jem that he should take Dill home and me. My opinion was to stay with Atticus and Jem also wanted to stay. Good job Jem! I was saying in my head. Out of the blue I saw Mr. Cunningham and asked him how his entailments were. I also told him I knew his son Walter Cunningham, and I apologized to him for beating his son up. I talked to Mr. Cunningham so they would lose their attention on Atticus and put their attention on me. I was acting as a diversion to save my dad and also Tom Robison who was behind Atticus in the jail. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that Atticus was behind the jail to protect Tom Robinson and Mr. Underwood the writer of the Tribune was upstairs with a shot gun helping Atticus also. So back to the story. After Mr. Cunningham said he will say to Walter that I said hi. Mr. Cunningham told the men to leave and they left Atticus, and Tom alone. All right my plan worked, and my cuteness defeated those wicked men that tried to defeat my #1 dad. Atticus was proud of all of us to follow him and save his and Tom's life. After this chaotic day I was surprised how courageous I was to stand up to that gang! I can't believe a little girl like me defeated the gang.
