Ms Dubose
Every time me and Jem go to town to buy something, but we have to pass by Ms Dubose's house. Ms. Dubose is always mean to us and she mocks us by telling Jem and me that we are ugly, wild, mean. One day when we were going to town because Jem had gotten a lot of money from his twelveth birthday. As we were passing Ms. Dubose house she called our father, Atticus, a black-lover, made fun of Jem and me. Jem told to lift my head up like gentlemen and walk away from her and I felt like Jem was my role model. That day Jem promised me that he was going to buy me a beautiful baton, and Jem was going to get a steam engine for himself. As he got my present and we were walking back home, Jem suddenly with his anger goes to Ms Dubose's house and cuts off all her camellias with my baton. Jem was so aggressive he started kicking me, which started to make me cry and make me really angry at Jem. As we went home, Atticus came from work and told Jem to apologize to Ms Dubose. When Jem came back from Ms Dubose's house after apologizing to her, he said that she wanted Jem to read for her for a month. I went with Jem to read for Ms. Dubose and every time we went to her house she would start mocking us and then she would tell us to start reading until her alarm clock rang. As Jem read a book for her she would fall to sleep, and I would still listen to Jem's reading till the alarm clock rang. I went with Jem for a month because I wanted to help my brother with his service for Ms. Dubose because I love him. Ms. Dubose wanted an extra day of reading, which got me and Jem really furious, but Atticus forced us to go to her and still read to her. As the last week of reading was over. Jem and I were so happy that we were running and skipping down the street. One day Atticus came to us and told us that Ms Dubose died, which made fell really sad. Ms. Dubose had left Jem a candy box. As Jem opened the box I was so scared and creped out when Ms Dubose left a camellia for Jem. As I saw my brother Jem cry from his fear from Ms. Dubose I was also scared.
